I can't believe I have been out of school for almost a month! Wow, where has the time gone? I feel so thankful to have the summer to unpack, do housing projects, get ready for baby, etc; however, it seems like we have overbooked ourselves a little bit. We looked at our calendar and realized we only have one free weekend until I go back to school. We have a lot of fun stuff planned but we need to make some time during the week to do the housing projects I guess.
I'm 26 weeks now and can't believe it. We are going to start childbirth classes soon and to be honest, the whole thing just scares me to death. I'm sure I'll shed a few tears just thinking about it. We are super excited about our little fellow but I'm not overly excited about the whole birthing experience.
We are busy planning for our little guy. We found a preschool for him and was really impressed when we took a tour. He won't start until January of 2010 because I'm taking three months off of school. I'm going to try it and see how it is when I go back. I'm really nervous about going back to work but it will give me some time to decide if I want to take the next year off or not. It's hard to know how I'm going to feel but I'll give it a try. Anyway, it felt so strange to fill out the papework at the preschool because we haven't even chosen a name, pediatrician, etc. We are having a hard time with names. We know we want James as a middle name but sometimes with boys it's hard to find names that you can imagine calling them when they are young and older. We have a list of about 6 names but we just haven't found one we love. I'm sure we will by September though.

So excited for you guys! Don't sweat the birthing thing... it will be over before you know it. BTW, epidurals are GREAT! Highly recommend them! :0)
Can be a controversial topic, but I had the best birthing experience. I slept through most of it and pushed her out like a champ. 25 minutes... The week after childbirth SUCKS. Bring on the Tylenol and Motrin!!!
I can't believe how quickly time is going! So exciting about the birthing classes. Pre school will be great. I wish we enrolled SP earlier because next week he is starting 2 - 1/2 days a week.
Good luck with the names, go with your heart.
Don't worry. By the time Sept comes around you'll be ready. I think Mother Nature makes the last month of your pregnancy so uncomfortable that you're willing to do *anything* to get the baby out of your body. Believe me - you'll be ready.
Hope I didn't scare you even more with that comment! :)
Wow! I can't believe it's been a month now since you posted that school was out. How time flies. Whatever name you choose I am sure it will be a good one. I can't wait to see what it will be....so exciting! :-)

I'm sure you'll find just the right name for your little guy! :-)
Picking a name really is hard. Should it be trendy? Should it be classic? Does it remind me of a previous student, and is that a good thing? So much to consider, but I know that whatever you two pick will be perfect.
I think finding names is even harder for teachers. On of my favorite names used to be Grant...funny how one child can ruin everything!
I have no advice on childbirth obviously, but I bet you will be ready and will do great!
If you are like me and get the epidural giving birth is a breeze. Been there twice and was not anything like I feared it would be. The week after childbirth isn't bad IMO because you have the precious child to think about. It really is not bad. Definitely go to childbirth classes though just so you don't feel scared... And if you are going to nurse definitely go to a class before having the baby. It is painless when done correctly.
