Time is flying by...

It is amazing to us that Anderson is already 2 months old. The time has flown by and things are so much better than they were the first few weeks. I'm loving my time with him each day. My goal has been to get out of the house almost every single day. He likes to go places and usually sleeps, so it is pretty easy thus far. He has been sleeping so much better at night and during the day. I'm loving the routine he is on and he is such a happy baby. This week he had his 2 month appointment and had to get his vaccinations. I was amazed at the fact that he weighed 12 pounds 11 ounces! He was such a happy little guy for about an hour and then the last 5 minutes he was a sad little guy. :( I felt so bad for him. When we got home we had to give him some tylenol because he wasn't feeling good and his legs were swollen. The next day he was back to his happy self. This week I also took him to school so that I could help my long term sub with the first trimester report cards. To be honest, it was difficult to get into the school mode. I don't want to be in the school mode but I will have to be in January. The time is ticking so fast and I just don't even want to think about leaving my little guy with someone else for 8 to 10 hours each day. :( If you are a working mom, please tell me that things won't be as bad as I think they will be...

We have that same outfit. :) I'm not going to lie, the first couple of days were hard for me and I shed some tears. What helped was calling the first few days just to find out what he was doing. It gets easier. By the end of the first week I was dropping him off with a big kiss and felt totally comfortable. Alex is such a social little guy and he LOVES his time at daycare. That makes it easier on me too. Email me anytime you have worries. ;)

When I left Molly to go back to work, it was hard, but when you teach the day goes by fast and you're home before you know it. I think it was a lot harder on me than it was on her. :-)

*sniff* Anderson is looking less and less like a newborn.

Things really aren't too bad- teaching makes the day fly by. BUT- the first day? I can't tell a lie. It is horrible. I don't think anything you can do will change that. It does get easier though and at least you only have 1/2 a year until summer :)

I promise, things will not be as bad as you think. It's not easy being a working mom but it's important and the work day flies by. It's going to be ok and if you ever need anyone to talk to about it, just e-mail me. Trust me, I will be able to relate. And Melisa is right, it's a lot harder on us!

Everyone is right...at first it's really hard. See if you can find a place with a web cam--I logged on and watched Morgan for weeks :)

Morgan is a bit of a social butterfly as well...and it is fun to watch him play and enjoy time with his friends!
